Being a hero doesn’t mean you’re invincible.
It just means that you’re brave enough to
stand up and do what’s needed.

Expectations and Distance Learning

The 5th grade team has been focusing our morning meetings and beginning of the year activities around how students can show P.R.I.D.E. within a distance learning setting. We can demonstrate Respect around technology by using the zoom chat as a tool, not a toy. We can keep our cell phones out of reach (just like they would be out of reach if we were in the classroom) to stay Engaged in the lesson. We can be Dependable and follow the district rules that prohibit taking pictures or video of others without their knowledge. We will continue to discuss and model showing P.R.I.D.E. during our distance learning time together and we hope that you will continue to have these conversations with your child at home as well. Thank you for your support.
